Garden Party
Sunday, August 17th
3 PM at Cobb Hill Cohousing, Hartland, VT
Join us for a joyful afternoon in the gardens at Cobb Hill—where herbs are blooming, flowers are flourishing, and community is at the heart of it all.
The annual Cobb Hill garden party is a beloved tradition on the hill, and this year we’d love for you to be part of it.
🎟️ Tickets are available now
Proceeds after covering our costs and labor will go back to support our community food and land-based enterprises—including the gardens, herbs, cheese, maple, and more. This helps us all keep growing.
This is more than a fundraiser for Hillside Herbs & Flowers (though it’s that too!). It’s a rare opportunity to open our doors and our gardens to the broader community—to extend the spirit of Cobb Hill beyond our driveway and warmly welcome folks from Hartland and the Upper Valley to enjoy what we’ve been cultivating together.
We’re serving up the best of last year—herbal mocktails (or BYO for cocktails!), pick-your-own flower bouquets, herbal-infused ice cream sundaes, music, lawn and water games, and a botanical scavenger hunt. And this time, we’re also celebrating and supporting other Cobb Hill enterprises, including our beloved cheese and maple. It's a chance to invite people into our farmstand, share our abundance, and nourish connection through beauty and flavor.
✿ What to Expect
Your ticket includes a full immersive community garden experience:
A refreshing herbal mocktail or cocktail on arrival
A floral bouquet to take home—pick your own from our abundant garden
Herbal-infused ice cream sundaes, featuring top-your own ice cream with botanical syrups and maple sugar.
Delicious snacks including local charcuterie, Cobb Hill cheese, and fresh garden fare
Lawn games, water play, and a botanical scavenger hunt for all ages
Fantastic raffle of gift baskets of local goods and treasures - $5 tickets. Bring cash!
Live music, good company, and the magic of summer in full bloom
🌿 Why Your Ticket Matters
Proceeds from ticket sales go directly to supporting enterprises at Cobb Hill, including Hillside Herbs & Flowers, a young herb and flower enterprise. Additionally, a portion of our profits after costs will go back into supporting the shared half-acre community growing space, helping us plant the seeds—literally and figuratively—for a future of growing food and flowers together on this beloved land.
Your support helps us:
Expand our offerings of locally grown food, flowers, herbal products
Invest in tools and infrastructure
Sow the seeds for next year’s harvest of beauty and medicine
This is your chance to experience a slice of cohousing life, support a growing local project, and celebrate summer in full flower. We’d love for you to come walk the gardens, sample what we’re creating, and get a taste—literally—of what cooperative living and collaborative growing can offer.
Whether you come for the flowers, the ice cream, the music, or the joy of being outside with neighbors, we hope you’ll leave feeling refreshed, rooted, and inspired. We can’t wait to welcome you.
Come and celebrate the season with us.
